Quand les vieux saints vinrent évangéliser la Bretagne, ils érigèrent des croix sur les dolmens puis dans les églises. D’abord en bois, elles furent ensuite sculptées dans la pierre pour pouvoir résister à vent et pluie. Puis vint le temps où Dieu fut méprisé. Les croix furent mutilées, détruites. Mais un sculpteur célèbre fut ému devant ces statues ruinées et ses croix sont maintenant partout. C’était ton père… et il voit, avec bonheur, les œuvres que tu réalises à ton tour ! Tu feras honneur à la Bretagne.
